Scientific Journal

Many people are attracted to reading scientific journals, especially those who are pursuing their university studies in a specific specialization, or even if they want to enter the world of writing scientific research articles, and if not, they may just be a fan of scientific journals. In all cases, we see that the scientific journal has its place, importance, and resonance for readers and even for those who seek to publish in scientific journals. So what are scientific journals?

Definition of scientific journal:

It is a series of issues that are printed and published like a newspaper, but in a more specialized manner and are related to a specific field, as they are published either every week or even every month or every six months, depending on the period specified by the owner of the scientific journal and the desired goal of that. In addition to that, the journal may have a body responsible for publishing and judging the acceptance of research for publication, and thus it is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, or it may even be without a clear committee that is satisfied with only containing scientific articles, and thus it is an ordinary scientific journal, and in both cases its ultimate goal is science and nothing else.

Types of scientific journals:

Cultural magazines: These magazines work to enrich the reader’s scientific cultural library by informing him of all that is new in terms of discoveries and inventions. You can say that they carry the latest scientific news and are aware of the latest of this news, certainly because they are considered a general overview of discoveries and studies. They do not have a jury that judges whether or not to accept publishing a scientific article, and this makes them not merely a confirmation of information, as another scientific magazine may come out and deny what a second magazine says.
